Definition
- The forecast 2008 Episodic Tremor and Slip (ETS) event is now underway beneath southern Vancouver Island on Canada's west coast. Tremor is observed on the seismographs and GPS instruments are moving to the west. ETS events happen about every 15 months beneath southern Vancouver Island. They are so regular they can be forecast.
