Definition
- The Geophysical Survey of Slovenia (GSS) (former Seismological Survey) exists in the frame of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning. The main activity is monitoring and research of seismic activity in Slovenia. There are four permanent (Ljubljana, Cerknica, Bojanci and Vojsko) and two temporary seismic stations (Brezje pri Senusah and Bistriski jarek). More than 4800 voluntary observers from all over Slovenia send us data about earthquake effects on people, nature and objects.
