Definition
- Mental health refers to the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of one or more people. 1 Mental health can be be impacted by exposure to climate related or weather-related disasters. 2 Specific groups of people are at higher risk for distress and other adverse mental health consequences including but not limited to children, the elderly, and people with preexisting mental illness. 3 (en)
