- The Canadian Socio-Economic Information Management System (CANSIM II) is a time series database containing chronological series. CANSIM II is Statistics Canada's key database profiling Canada's people, economy and industries. The Daily is Statistics Canada's official release bulletin. It presents highlights and summaries from statistical programs and surveys as well as major conclusions of analytical studies. Infomat is a weekly review of the major Statistics Canada reports, reference papers and other releases. Insights on... is a newsletter from Statistics Canada highlighting trends in business and trade statistics.
