- The Maine State Climate Office was formed in partnership with the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC), Asheville, NC and the Northeast Regional Climate Center (NRCC), Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, to provide climatic information for the people of Maine that may assist individuals in answering questions about the state's climate.
