Definition
- Jellyfish are acoelomate with a body wall divided into two layers and separated by a jelly-like mesoglea. They are primarily radially symmetrical with no anus and a mouth usually surrounded by tentacles bearing stinging nematocysts. Jellyfish are free swimming. (en)
