Definition
- Galaxy clusters listed in the Abell catalog, which is a catalog of 4073 rich galaxy clusters grouped by constellation and by catalog number. Published first in 1958, it contained the clusters visible from the northern hemisphere. A supplement for the southern hemisphere survey was published in 1988. (en)
