- Our research mission is to analyze and understand the behaviour of the Earth's climate system. This is accomplished particularly through data on atmospheric, oceanic, cryospheric, lithospheric and biospheric activity collected over time and space scales in order to address current scientific issues and questions such as global warming and to generally serve Canada's present and future climate monitoring needs.
