Our clients are mining, oil and gas, and forestry companies and government agencies. OUR TEAM RGI is a team of geoscientists specializing in the processing, integration andimaging of technical data for the identification, evaluation, monitoring and regulation of natural resources. This team is lead by Gerry Mitchell, a registered Professional Geoscientist of the Province of BC and a Registered Professional Geophysicist of the Province of Alberta. OUR EXPERTISE In the resource industries and government monitoring and regulation agencies, the most effective interpretations of technical data sets are usually carried out by the decision making professionals. Our specialty is understanding and processing the technical data sets to produce images and processed data sets that these professionals can effectively interpret with their existing working knowledge. RGI often works closely with interpr etation consultants, who provide specialist insight. The following data sets, in approximate order, constitute the largest volume of our work: -Optical Satellite Data - Radar Satellite Data - Digital Topography - Airborne Geophysics - Digital Geochemistry - Digital Geology - Scanned Aerophotos OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS RGI was established in Vancouver in 1993. Since that ti me RGI has carried out projects for several hundred companies and government agencies working throughout the world. Listed below are some of our major accomplishments: - Value Added Reseller of orthorectified IRS satellite data by the map sheet in Canada - Production of 311 1:50,000 scale NTS map sheets of orthorectified IRS satellite data for the Alberta Government Access Update Project. - Development of tonal balancing and haze attenuation processing methods for IRS data. - Development of the first regional Radarsat mosaics. - Producti on of Radarsat Mosaics of Indonesia, Philippines, PNG, Central America, Guy ana Shield, Ecuador and Peru. - Production of a 25 metre Digital Elevation Model of the Province of BC. - Imaging of Alberta Kimberlites with digital topography. - Landsat Imaging of 70% of Mexico for structure and alteration . - Authorized ER Mapper Distrubuter for British Columbia (en)
