  • The Center for Earth Observing and Space Research (CEOSR) at George Mason University ( GMU ) provides a focus for research done from satellite platforms, including data, associated information technologies and applications as well as fundamental science CEOSR is an interdisciplinary research center, currently in the School of Computational Sciences ( SCS ), it has strong ties with faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences ( CAS ) and School of Information Technology and Engineering ( IT&E ). It supports the mission of science at GMU, as a working group on Space Science , Earth Observing/Remote Sensing projects, Earth System Science, and applications and Data Information Systems. CEOSR also provides needed infrastructure, including organizational and logistic support to research projects falling within the focus areas.
