  • The location and status of energy infrastructure, especially in relationship to population and land use, are important from many perspectives including access to energy, development, environmental impacts on land, air, and water resources, disaster risk management, and mitigation and adaptation to climate change. This collection presently includes two datasets on the locations of nuclear power facilities with their associated attributes and on estimated country-level populations in proximity to those locations with at least one operating reactor in March 2012.
