- There are a lot of problems related to public health and our environment these days. For example,air and water pollution,food poisoning,infectious diseases,and other food problems due to chemical substances.Fukuoka City Institute for Hygiene and Environment was established to deal with those problems in Fukuoka regions.This is a core center of scientific technology for hygiene and environment administration in Fukuoka City as well as an open institute to local residents. It provides scientific information, and also strives for international cooperation with other countries for technological issues.
