Definition
- The National Geographic Information System (SNIG) is the national infrastructure of spatial data, and through its geo-portal, lets you search, view and explore the geographical information on the country, produced by official bodies and also private. It is also an area of contact to streamline, coordinate and organize the activities related to this issue in Portugal and in the context of the European Directive INSPIRE (Infrastructure for Spatial Information in Europe).
