TUMST

Definition

  • TUMSAT has an exciting curriculum designed to advance knowledge and pursue intellectual fulfillment concerning marine science, culture and technology, fisheries science, food science, logistics, and mercantile marine. Although TUMSAT was established recently on October 1, 2003 with the merger of Tokyo University of Mercantile Marine and Tokyo University of Fisheries, both universities had played key roles in developing related sciences and industries for more than a hundred years. Their respective devotion to teaching and research has made TUMSAT a leading institution in higher education today. The students, faculty, and staff of TUMSAT work hard to advance knowledge and understanding of the world we live in. The ideal location of being near the sea as well as being situated in the middle of the city also helps students and researchers pursue intellectual and personal fulfillment. (en)
