- The Martindale Center for the Study of Private Enterprise was established in 1980 through a generous endowment provided by Elizabeth Fairchild Martindale and Harry Turner Martindale (Lehigh '27). An interdisciplinary resource in Lehigh University's College of Business and Economics, the Martindale Center advances educational and scholarly programs to increase understanding of the U.S. economy and its relationship with the world economy.
