Definition
- Producers are operating in an environment that is increasingly knowledge intensive. They compete to sell their commodities in a complex international marketplace, and are required to stay on top of advances in science and technology, business practices and production techniques. Under the Agricultural Policy Framework federal and provincial governments will work with producers to ensure they have access to the learning and development opportunities they need in order to remain competitive.
