- The Global Runoff Data Center (GRDC) operates under the auspices of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). It closely cooperates with other UN-agencies, International organizations and research institutes. Major activities of the GRDC include the collection and dissemination of river discharge data on global scale, and the provision of data products and specialized services for the research community, water managers and water-related programmes of the specialized agencies of the United Nations (UN).
