Definition
- The Governor of Chiba Prefecture visited the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Republic of Costa Rica from August 21 to 30, 2007. After observing the state of biodiversity and natural conservation in the Republic of Costa Rica, from August 25 she visited the Federative Republic of Brazil, where her activities included attending the memorial ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Brazilian Association of People from Chiba Prefecture and visiting the Deceased Pioneers Monument. She both expressed respect for the long years of turmoil the immigrants endured and offered congratulations as well. (en)
