  • The Vermont Geological Survey, also known as the Division of Geology and Mineral Resources in the Department of Environmental Conservation, conducts surveys and research relating to the geology, mineral resources and topography of the State. The Survey, directed by Laurence R. Becker, State Geologist (1995-present), is located in Waterbury, Vermont at the Agency of Natural Resources.
