Definition
- The Center for Earth Observing and Space Research (CEOSR) was officially founded in the fall of 1995 within the then Institute of Computational Sciences and Informatics at George Mason University. Today, CEOSR is an interdisciplinary research center in the College of Science and the largest research center at GMU, with more than 60 affiliated scientists, more than 60 graduate students, and a multi-million dollar annual budget.
