Definition
- The Focused Cavity Aerosol Spectrometer (FCAS) counts and sizes aerosol particles by measuring the amount of light scattered as they pass through a laser beam. The instrument consists of a sampling inlet, a Particle Measuring model Focused Cavity Aerosol Spectrometer, and a data acquisition and recording system.
