Definition

  • [Text Source: GRACE Tellus Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment homepage, http://grace.jpl.nasa.gov/information/ ] GRACE is a collaboration of the US and German space agencies (NASA and DLR). The key partners are the University of Texas Center for Space Research, Geoforschungszentrum Potsdam, and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. GRACE TELLUS provides user-friendly data grids, with most corrections applied, to analyze changes in the mass of the Earth's hydrologic components. We do so by using GRACE mission data, with additional post-processing, alone or in combination with other data, to generate gridded products (monthly and time-averaged) with the most up-to-date corrections.
