Definition
- The Paleoceanographic team was organized within the Laboratory of Geodynamics and Paleoceanography in 2005, after the reorganization of the Laboratory of Ore Genesis and Paleoceanography. The main research subjects of the team are the high resolution paleoceanographic reconstructions in the different areas of the World Ocean, global correlations, and teleconnections. The group headed by Dr. Sc. Elena Ivanova consists of five persons, including Emeritus Professor Ivar Murdmaa, and associated students from Moscow State University and Russian University of Geological Prospecting.
