Definition

  • NASDA EOC receives data from Japanese and foreign earth observation satellites, such as America's LANDSAT or France's SPOT, and the data are then processed, inspected and analyzed at EOC. The data is provided to regional public organizations, research institutes and universities which utilize it in various fields, such as environmental problem resolution, disaster observation and resource exploration. Also, for the effective use of the observation data, EOC cooperates internationally to collect data and provide as datasets.
