- Langley engineers and scientists are currently developing an airborne High Spectral Resolution Lidar (HSRL), started under Langley's Creativity and Innovation initiative, to measure aerosols and clouds. In the future, the HSRL team hopes to add ultraviolet backscatter and Raman channels to enable aerosol microphysical retrievals.
