Definition
- Kinki University is the first university in Japan to set up and run a low output nuclear reactor (UTR-Kinki) for research and teaching. The university's commitment to nuclear research has been growing and has resulted in the establishment of the Department of Nuclear Engineering in the School of Science and Engineering in addition to our Atomic Energy Research Institute.
