Definition
- The mission of the Earth and Resource Science Department has multiple and interrelated components. First, is to understand the natural processes at work shaping our physical environment; second, is to study the human response to those processes; and third, is to develop a means for students, faculty, and community to develop an appreciation for the character and complexity of environmental problems, so as to help make sound judgments about their resolution.
