Vito's activities are focused on stimulating sustainable technological development and high standard R&D in the following fields of expertise: Energy technology Environmental measurement Environmental and process technology Environmental toxicology Integral environmental studies Materials technology Remote sensing and earth observation processes In its Remote sensing and atmospheric processes research domain Vito makes long-lasting and internationally recognised contributions towards the modelling of terrestrial and atmospheric processes and the use of terrestrial observation for monitoring of the environment.
