UTLS/OZONE
Definition
- UTLS OZONE is a five year UK NERC funded thematic programme, which started in 1998, to study ozone in the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere. The Programme aims to make authoritative statements on chemical, dynamical and radiative processes controlling the distribution of ozone in the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere at middle latitudes. Studies related to pollution (from surface sources and from aircraft) and to chemistry/climate interactions will be in scope.
