  • Project Magnet involves data from low altitude, high density individual track line surveys, high altitude vector data and regional magnetic anomaly grids. From 1951 through 1994, the U.S. Navy, under its Project Magnet program, continuously collected vector aeromagnetic survey data to support the U.S. Defense Mapping Agency's world magnetic modeling and charting program.
