Definition
- A joint survey on halieutic resources and oceanography off Republica de Angola coast was carried out with a scientific staff from Instituto de Investigacao das Pescas e do Mar (IPIMAR), Lisboa, Portugal and Instituto de Investigacao Pesqueira de Angola (IIP), Luanda, Angola. This survey was performed on boars of RV "Capricornio" from October to December 1995. Studies on some species of Sparidae (Dentex angolensis, Dentex congoensis, Dentex macrophthalmus and Pagellus bellottii), Merluccius polli and crustaceans (Penaeus notialis, Parapenaeus longirostris, Aristeus varidens and Chaceon maritae) were undertaken through eighty-three bottom trawl stations.
