Definition
- DISDROMETERS are instruments that measure and record sizes of raindrops; it consists of a transponder that measures momentum of individual drops as they fall onto an exposed horizontal surface and the size is determined by calibration and the drop size distribution (a tally of number of drops of different size categories).
