Definition
- The Earth Observation Research Center (EORC) is one of the centers established within the Office of Space Applications. EORC actively supports construction of a safe and secure society (free from care and danger) by cooperating with the Satellite Program and Planning Department and satellite project teams within the Office, as well as with industrial, academic and other sectors, and by promoting expansion of satellite data utilization in disaster prevention and mitigation, crisis management, natural resources management, and the Earth environment.
