Definition
- PROFILERS are remote sensing devices that receive electromagnetic or acoustic waves transmitted through, emitted by, or reflected from the atmosphere in order to produce a vertical profile (a graph showing the variation of a meteorological event with height) of one or more atmospheric quantities.
