  • GRID-Warsaw is one of the 14 centres of the GRID programme established by UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme). GRID (Global Resource Information Database) aim is to help bridge the gap between the scientific study of processes occurring on the Earth and effective environmental management at national, regional and global levels. GRID-Warsaw is responsible for collecting, procesing and providing information on environment in Poland and neighbouring regions, cooperating closely with both global and European environmental institutions.
