MARPOLMON
Definition
- The Marine Pollution Monitoring Program (MARPOLMON) was implemented in 1980 after taking over the marine Pollution Monitoring Pilot Program (MAPMOPP, 1975 to 1980) to monitor marine pollution spreading in parts of oceans on a global scale and to evaluate pollution problems in marine environment.
