- Calibration is defined as Data Analysis and Visualization Service that is designed to allow a user of the service to properly adjust Earth science data to achieve optimal accuracy and/or precision. EXAMPLE: An algorithm to correct for the decaying orbit of a satellite (calibration). (en)
