  • The World Data Center (WDC) for Soils is maintained by ISRIC - World Soil Information, Wageningen, since 1989. The Centre provides a focus for soil-related collections and information services as custodian of global soil information [see: http://www.isric.org/UK/About+Soils/WDC+for+Soils/]. ISRIC - World Soil Information is an independent foundation with a global mandate, funded by the Netherlands Government, and with a strategic association with Wageningen University and Research Centre.
