- Earth Sciences plays a crucial role in our understanding of the world processes through time and their impact on today's physical environment. Earth Sciences at UQ provides an environment of interdisciplinary research providing groundbreaking insights allowing us to face the challenges of our world. Our staff and students have access to world-class facilties, research programs, and international linkages. To support the ongoing need for entrepreneurs in these fields, we strive to provide our students with innovative and current teaching practices. Many of our staff have been recognized for their efforts in teaching the next-generation of leaders through national and UQ Awards.
