Definition
- OCEANOR is a high technology company specialising in the marine environment. With a multi-disciplinary background within marine meteorology, oceanography and biology together with ocean engineering and instrumentation, OCEANOR has developed multi-parameter marine environmental monitoring and forecasting systems which have been deployed world-wide for a range of customers. In addition, performance monitoring systems for offshore and coastal structures is an important component of the company profile. OCEANOR's activities are concentrated within three main business areas: 1) SEAWATCH turn-key systems for regional real-time environmental monitoring. 2) Coastal zone management including operation of tailor-made environmental monitoring systems and consultancy services. 3) Oceanographic and meteorological survey work for the offshore industry together with marine environmental and platform performance measurements and consultancy services.
